October 2007 - "Aotearoa", the brand new CD by New Zealand recording artiste David Broadley is released

The follow-up to "Baby Blue" has just been released and this time we have an album made up mostly of original songs from both Nashville and UK songwriters. In fact David makes his writing debut on the title track "Aotearoa" which is the maori word for New Zealand - his homeland. It translates as "The land of the long white cloud". Despite this title this is out-and-out country music at it's very best. You can hear a sampler from this CD by clicking on the album cover on the left. Grimsby based  guitarist and songwriter Steve Blythin provided four of the tracks from his growing songbook as well as playing some of the guitar parts.

April 2006 - "Baby Blue", the brand new CD by New Zealand recording artiste David Broadley is released

After several months here in the studio at Twangmeister, the third album by New Zealand's David Broadley has been completed. David's first two albums, recorded back home in Auckland, have been very successful for him. This is his first project since moving to the UK and is also his first Country album.

With expert musicianship and vocals from Dan Wesley, Derek Thurlby, John Permenter, Sarah Jory and Jenny Beck; and the velvet tones of David himself; this should be another crowd-pleasing album for him.

September 2004 - The New Twangmeister Studios Gets Its' Official Opening with its' First Recording Session

On September 29th 2004 the first recording session took place in the newly built Twangmeister Studios. The first session was with none other than the ace Texan fiddle player John Permenter. John took time out of his European tour to come and lay down some tracks on a couple of upcoming projects. And here he is celebrating the opening with Dan. We're pleased to report that the champagne had no detrimental effect on this man's excellent fiddle work.

The new studio build was given the full design treatment by The Studio Wizard Organisation, and was built with all the necessary acoustic treatment to provide a professional recording and mixing environment. Here you can see John taking a breather during the new Twangmeister's first session.
