 Welcome to Twangmeister Studios

Twangmeister Studios is a 48 Track + all digital recording studio based in North East Lincolnshire. This small purpose built studio is ideally suited to solos, duos and small bands. Larger groups can be recorded on location and all the knob twiddling done back at the studio.

You’ll find a very friendly and flexible atmosphere and working environment. And plenty of tea and biscuits. Sounds like my kind of deal!

The system is based around Cakewalk's SONAR 5 Producer software for midi sequencing, multitrack audio recording, processing and mixing, with the addition of Steinberg WaveLab for dedicated audio editing and mastering with the best plugin tools around. With 20 physical ins and outs via two Aardvark 10in/10out audio interfaces and Adat to boot, we have all the flexibility needed for even the most demanding projects. And all of this controlled via the excellent Mackie Control console.

The heart and soul of the setup and the reason why productions here sound so great is the use of GigaStudio - the world's most powerful sampler bar none. And here at Twangmeister Studios we have available over 250GB of THE world's finest sampled instruments bar none. So even if your tracks are all midi, they'll still sound great!

We can accomodate projects of all sizes, from single track demo to complete album, radio jingles, voiceovers, etc. And our rates are remarkable value:

Studio time is booked at £15 per hour while savings can be made for 7 or 8 hour days. And the rate is discounted further to just £12.50 per hour for work done while the client is not on site.

November 2006 - "From A Jack To A Joker" by Dan Wesley is nominated for Single of the Year at the prestigious UK Country Radio Awards

April 2006 - "Baby Blue", the new album by New Zealand recording artiste David Broadley is released. The album produced here at Twangmeister is David's third album, and his first since his move to the UK.

November 2005 - "That's Good" by Dan Wesley is named in the line-up on the Silver Heart Best Of British Country 2005 CD.

August 2005 - Twangmeister Studios completes a brand new custom jingle package for local radio station.

January 2005 - "She's On Her Way Out", the debut single by Dan Wesley recorded here at Twangmeister Studios has been included on the Best Of British Country 2004 album.

September 2004 - Official opening of the new studio as Texan fiddle player John Permenter records the first session in the new studio.
