3rd Chart-topper in as Many Months
A cover of the Boney M classic "By The Rivers of Babylon" by Australian gospel singer Marguerite Devonshire has hit the top of the European New Chritian Music chart and in so-doing toppled the previous No.1 single by fellow Twangmeister artiste Dan Wesley. His hit "Praying Man" had been at the top the previous week.
"Step Into The Water", the lead track from Marguerite's new gospel album, produced here at Twangmeister Studios by Dan Wesley went straight in at No.1 on the European NCM Country Chart for the week ending July 9th. The song also made No.2 on the all-genre Chart.
